Bluetooth uses low power radio communications to connect wireless phones, computers, and other network wireless devices. The great thing about bluetooth is that, because there are no wires or leads, it allows us to exchange data between two wireless devices, and because there are no wires or leads, wireless comunication is achievable over distances of up to thirty feet.
You can also use your portable bluetooth device to connect to other, existing bluetooth points, something known as interoperability. This means that you don't need to carry CDs of drivers or a data lead with you, so you can enjoy your bluetooth device without the bother of installing software.
Bluetooth allows you to use our cellphone and PDA to surf the net and receive and send emails whilst on the move, something that is very usefull if you are in business and need to keep up to date with your work. Another benefit of bluetooth is the ability to transfer files, such as MP3s and photos from your mobile device.
Bluetooth headsets offer a great way to use your phone, whilst keeping your hands free, which is ideal for people who need to communicate on the move. Speaking of being on the move, you can use a Bluetooth GPS device for satellite navigation on your laptop, mobile or PDA, great for people who do a lot of travelling. Bluetooth technology is advancing all the time, and it's fair to say, it'll be around for many years to come.
